Should I order in advance?
Yes. We always suggest pre-ordering by phone for in store pick up if you have a certain pie in mind, but if not, simply walk in and pick from any of our delicious options available that day. Contact us at any of our locations to pre-order. You can also order online for shipping 365 days in advance, our shipping calendar is available in the cart page at checkout.
Can I phone or email an order for pick-up?
We greatly appreciate pre-orders. Please call in pre-orders to the location nearest you, rather than emailing. Contact us .
What is Southern Baked Pie Company’s Cancellation Policy?
We are not able to cancel orders after a 24 hour window from when the order was placed. Our products are made from scratch, so once orders are placed they are immediately processed and can not be canceled, even if the ship date is in the future.
Do I need to pre-pay for my order?
Yes! We kindly ask that you pre-pay for all pre-orders. Only pies that have been paid for can be held at the store for you.
What is the size of a Southern Baked Pie?
Our whole pie is 10” (approximately 8 servings). Petite pies are 5” (approximately 2 servings) and tassies are bite-size pieces.
Do you offer refunds or replacements?
Opinions and tastes certainly differ. We are very sorry if you receive a pie and were expecting a different taste, but we do not offer refunds or replacements based on taste preferences. If your package is damaged in transit or if you have any other issues with your pie, please feel free to give us a call. Although we do not offer refunds, we may replace your pie, depending on the circumstance. If a replacement is given for a shipped pie, the cost of shipment for the replacement pie will be billed again at the customer’s expense.
Do you offer gluten free, vegan pies & sugar free pies?
We are pleased to offer gluten free pies and are constantly working to create new and delicious flavors. Our gluten free pie dough is made in-house, by hand, with all butter. We currently do not offer vegan or sugar free products but look forward to perfecting more recipes and releasing new products soon. Allergies

If I have a nut-allergy can I eat at Southern Baked Pie?
We strive to keep our kitchen and products that do not contain nuts as safe as possible, but our kitchen is not an allergy free kitchen and there is the possibility of cross contamination. We strongly advise our customers with gluten, dairy, nut, peanut, or any other type of food allergies to err on the side of caution and refrain from eating our pies.

Storage

How Do I Store my Pie?

Savory and Fruit Pies

  • SWEET FRUIT PIES: If thawed and baked, store in refrigerator for up to 2 days. If frozen, place into the freezer for up to 6 months.
  • SAVORY QUICHE AND TOMATO PIE: If thawed and baked, store in refrigerator for 2 days. If frozen, place into the freezer for up to 6 months.
  • SAVORY (WHOLE): Keep frozen until ready to bake.
  • SAVORY (PETITE): Keep frozen until ready to bake.

Other Pies

  • TO STORE: If thawed, store in refrigerator for 4-5 days. If frozen, place into the freezer for up to 6 months.
How do I bake/refreeze a pie?

Savory and Fruit Pies

  • SWEET FRUIT PIES: Remove plastic wrap. Thaw then place in preheated 350 degree oven and heat for 30 minutes or until pies are warm throughout.
  • SAVORY QUICHE AND TOMATO PIE: Remove plastic wrap. Thaw then place in a preheated 325 degree oven and heat for 30 minutes or until pies are warm throughout.
  • SAVORY (WHOLE): Remove plastic wrap. From frozen place in a preheated 400 degree oven and bake for 25 minutes and then reduce temperature to 375 degrees and bake for 1 hour or until pies are golden brown on top. Please allow 30 minutes after baking to rest, then serve and enjoy.
  • SAVORY (PETITE): Remove plastic wrap. From frozen place in a preheated 400 degree oven and bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 45 minutes to an hour or until the pie is completely golden brown. Please allow 30 minutes after baking to rest, then serve and enjoy.

Other Pies

  • TO FREEZE: Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze for up to 6 months.
  • TO THAW: Remove from freezer 12 hours prior to serving or place in refrigerator to thaw overnight.

Shipping

How do you ship pies and what days do you ship?
Our pies can ship Monday-Thursday with UPS and FedEx. We make our pies completely by hand using the best quality ingredients available to us. In short, we do not cut corners when it comes to the look, taste, and presentation of our shipped pies. We pride ourselves in having the most beautiful packaging that you can feel proud to gift to someone for any occasion. To ensure your precious pie arrives safely to eat and beautiful to display, we ship our pies frozen, with 5lbs of dry ice. By the time your pies arrive they will be cool to the touch and ready to enjoy, bake, or freeze. Once shipped, most pies will arrive within one to two days but remote locations may take up to as many as three days. If you do not wish to serve upon arrival, please place in the freezer for a later date. We ship Monday-Thursday. If you need expedited shipping, please contact us at 404.263.0656, and we will do our best to accommodate your order.
Do you ship outside the US?
We currently do not ship outside the US.
What if my order shipped and the address is incorrect?
Southern Baked Pie Company is not responsible for packages shipped with a wrong address. Addresses are provided by the purchaser. We also send an order confirmation email immediately after the order is placed with information provided for the order. We can make any corrections to your order as long as your order has not been processed for shipping. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our customer service department.
What happens if my Package is Delayed, Lost or Damaged?
We rely on third-party carriers for the transportation and delivery of our products. While we work with reputable carriers, occasional delays, damages and lost packages in transit may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Southern Baked Pie Company cannot be held responsible for such circumstances once the products have been handed over to the designated carrier. If your package is damaged in transit with the shipping carrier, you must send photos of the shipping box and product to our customer service email, info@southernbakedpie.com. We always recommend purchasing Route Package Protection with your order to help provide a replacement if issues do occur with your package in transit.
What is Route Package Protection?
Southern Baked Pie Company has partnered with Route Package Protection to ensure your package is covered against delayed, lost, stolen, or damaged shipments. Should you choose to opt out of Route, unfortunately, we will not be able to re-ship or refund your package for any reason.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
We CANNOT ship to PO Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses at this time. Please be sure to have a correct physical address. We are not responsible for incorrect or incomplete address entries for online shipping orders.
Do you ship to apartments?
Yes; although, we do not require a signature for any packages, and we are not responsible for lost, stolen, unclaimed packages, packages left at doorsteps, building office or with building attendants. Once the delivery is confirmed by the carrier, we are no longer responsible for the package.
Do you require a signature for shipped pies?
We do not require a signature, but due to the perishability of our pies and the sensitive nature of the product, we recommend someone be present to receive the package. We email tracking information to the purchaser once a pie order is placed so that you can follow your pie’s journey. Please note we do not make any contact with the recipients receiving pies.

Does Southern Baked Pie cater for weddings, baby showers, corporate events, etc?
Yes! We love creating beautiful sweet and savory pies in different sizes and flavors for all life’s special occasions. Does Southern Baked Pie offer onsite catering set-up?
At this time, we do not offer onsite set-up, but we are happy to work with your caterer by offering design ideas and inspiration to help make your event simply spectacular.
