Over here at Southern Baked Pie, we have been keeping this BIG secret and we cannot hold it in any longer! Lemon Chess is BACK for the month of April! The weather is warming up and while the pollen is a little overwhelming, we will take it if it means we get to share our Lemon Chess with you. Imagine enjoying a cool slice on your front porch on a Saturday afternoon, can anyone tell us what is better than that?
Here is a little trick! If you want to add some dazzle, to an already sparkling Lemon Chess, you can add whip cream on top with some berries for a pop of color and to make you feel a little healthier :-)

Fresh Whipped Cream Recipe
2 cups heavy cream
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
In a mixer fitted with whisk attachment, combine heavy cream and sugar. Start out beating on medium speed. Add vanilla to mixer. Turn mixer to high and beat until soft peaks form. Serve a dollop on a slice of lemon chess pie and top with fresh fruit!
